The Executive
AMOSSHE is directed by a group of elected officers, with four named roles: Chair, Vice Chair, Vice Chair (Operations) and Treasurer - together with eight individual members who hold varying responsiblities and all commit to the Executive role descriptions and values.
The current Executive benefits from a member from the Welsh AMOSSHE region and a member from the Scottish AMOSSHE region; as a result these individuals represent both Welsh and Scottish matters on the Executive.
The Executive are elected through ballot with each member institution able to cast one vote for each vacancy. No member may serve more than eight consecutive years. The Executive authorise the National Office to carry out work on behalf of the organisation and its membership.
AMOSSHE conducts its business in line with its organisational policies and association documents, including the articles and rules of association.
AMOSSHE Members, in particular the Executive, together with the AMOSSHE National Office, represent Student Services on several national project steering and advisory committees. A list of these can be found here.
