Deadline for submissions Extended: 5pm, Monday 12th March 2012
Workshop Proposal Form (doc)
Guidance Notes (pdf)
Members are invited to submit proposals for potential workshops at this year’s annual conference in Bristol.
To help you consider whether you wish to propose a workshop:
- the Theme for the conference will be ‘Greater Expectations’
- the seminars for which we are currently seeking proposals will run for one hour each and will take place during Thursday 12 July
- ‘Greater Expectations’ will look at how we move from being great to being greater, whilst addressing the challenges of the past and next twelve months
- we are particularly interested to receive proposals that address the following areas:
How can Student Services deliver on service level promises and support?
How do Student Services managers keep focused on meeting needs as well as expectations?
How can Student Services make a difference to the student experience?
How are Student Services departments relevant to all students conscious of paying fees?
How can Student Services deliver and demonstrate value for money?
What does high quality and value look like?
What do Vice Chancellors want from our departments?
The skills that Student Services managers need
More information is in the guidance notes.
To propose a workshop at 'Greater Expectations,' complete and return the proposal form to info@amosshe.org.uk by 5pm on Monday 12th March 2012
We will advise all those who submit forms the outcome of their proposal by the end of March 2012.
