This two day conference is taking place on Wednesday June 25 - Thursday June 26 2008 at the University of Wales, Newport.

The challenge to deliver high quality student support in the context of higher education learning & teaching, research and third mission priorities depends on a symbiotic relationship between all stakeholders.

As the professional golfer needs a coach, the clubs, discipline the skill and the motivation to succeed, so universities need academic staff, corporate staff and external stakeholders committed to working together to succeed in meeting 21st century student expectations.

Set in the scenic Caerleon campus of the University of Wales, Newport this event is for Frontline staff in Student Services, Chaplaincy, Financial Contingency Funds, Childcare, Careers, Disability, Enterprise, International Offices, Retention, Student Finance, Careers Advisers,  Accommodation, Counselling, Students’ Union, Welfare, Academics, Personal tutors and staff working with 16-18 year olds, etc.
