About AMOSSHE

The Student Services Organisation brings together those who have responsibility for the leadership, management and co-ordination of a range of learner support and guidance services for students.

Our two key aims are

• to inform and support the leaders of student services
• to represent, advocate for and promote the student experience

AMOSSHE serves as a forum in which members can discuss matters relevant to the provision, quality and effective management of support guidance services, and it provides the opportunity to share ideas and discuss issues of common interest. We have 146 member institutions including those from the Russell Group, 1994 Group, Million+, University Alliance, and Mixed Economy.  Our members also include both Universities UK (UUK) and GuildHE institutions.

AMOSSHE works to inform and network with policy makers in the sector including governmental and sector specific organisations and groups. We aim to ensure that the considerable experience of our members in relation to student services is used wherever possible with the overall intention of enhancing the quality of the student experience.
