Preparing for leadership: managing, manoeuvring and meeting ambition

AMOSSHE is delighted to present this one day event for all student services managers with widening remits, and junior and middle managers aspiring to leadership.

The day will evaluate the challenges of career progression for student services managers and leaders. It will draw on real life case studies, and the expertise of a professional career coach. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their personal experience to date, and identify their individual career planning needs.

Staff aspiring to leadership will learn how to contribute to the greater effectiveness of their department and achieve their goals, whilst managers will develop an understanding of the greater contribution that these team members can make to delivering an effective service.
