NSA Student Retention and Progression Conference

We are delighted to announce that AMOSSHE members are entitled to a 25% discount for the Neil Stewart Associates Student Retention and Progression conference.

The 5th annual Student Retention and Progression conference will take place at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London W1 on Tuesday 20th April 2010.

Losing any student will have a serious impact on the bottom line of any higher education provider.  Recent events have indicated HEFCE are taking a much tougher approach on this whole funding area.

This conference will explore the strategies of leading higher education providers to improve retention, progression and completion rates.

It will bring together senior managers and policy makers from across the higher education sector and set out how to meet the challenge of achieving high levels of student retention, providing equal opportunities and access the support that students need to succeed.

Speakers include:

Professor Liz Thomas, Director Widening Participation Research Centre, Edge Hill University; Senior Advisor Widening Participation, Higher Education Academy (HEA)

Christine Fyfe, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Students), University of Leicester

Kate Dodd, Academic Registrar, York University; Executive Member, AMOSSHE the Student Services Organisation

The event is supported by HEFCE, HEA, Action on Access, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, AMOSSHE and Universities UK.

All AMOSSHE members benefit from a 25% discount. When making a booking please make a note that you are an AMOSSHE member.
