Research and Publications

AMOSSHE is committed to developing our understanding, knowledge and good practice in the area of student services provision and with regard to the quality of the student experience in general.

We intend publishing guidance on drug and alcohol issues for HEIs following collaboration between AMOSSHE members and the Executive Committee and the Drug and Alcohol Education Prevention Team (a joint project run by Drug Scope and Alcohol Concern).  We have previously worked with UUK on a guide to menigitis and we are also active participants in the recent UUK work on mental health.

Membership Survey

The AMOSSHE members’ survey is back!  We will contact IRMs with an online survey in summer 2010, that should take no more than fifteen minutes to complete.  The responses will give us a better understanding of our members, and the sector as a whole.  We encourage all IRMs to complete the survey, as it will be a key piece of information in our work to represent your needs and voices.  An anonymised overview of the responses will be available later in the year.  We intend running the online survey annually with the support of the new National Office structure.
