On 2 July 2024 Universities UK published its report ‘Enabling Student Health and Success’ addressing student drug use, and emphasising the need for a harm reduction approach and cross-campus collaboration. One year later, this workshop explores how universities have responded to the guidance and the impact of their efforts.
Hear from University College London, which, while previously supporting harm reduction in principle, has since taken a public and coordinated approach. Learn how they gained senior leadership approval, engaged key stakeholders, and developed their strategy.
This session, co-led by SOS-UK, provides practical insights into navigating institutional challenges, building partnerships, and sustaining progress.
