Clear Links
Specialist support provider for students and staff
Founded in 2006 to provide Non-Medical Help (NMH) support to students, Clear Links has grown to become the UK’s leading specialist NMH support provider in the UK.
We lead by innovation, thanks to our team of support specialist.
In the past 19 years, we have supported tens of thousands of students at more than 350 Higher Education Providers (HEPs) across the UK with Specialist Mentoring, Specialist Study Skills Support, Assistive Technology training and many other specialist support roles.
Our office staff include a former head of in-house disability services, disability specialists, and staff with lived experience of disability in their studies and at work.
We also have our own in-house team of system specialists who develop and maintain our bespoke NMH management systems.
This unique set of skills and experiences equips Clear Links with a deep understanding of the needs of students, HEP staff and support workers.
We deliver support for a wide range of students and funding streams including DSA, ESFA (Additional Learning Support for Apprenticeships), Access to Work, and HEP funded support (e.g. for international students, interim support).
How we work with HEPs
Thanks to the NMH expertise of their office staff and their bespoke management system, minimal management and administrative resources are needed from us; it results in a flexible and collaborative working relationship. This means that our staff can focus on supporting students. Our students also find the support excellent. Student satisfaction has been above 99% consistently year after year. We believe this plays an important role in retaining disabled students and seeing them perform well in their course. The feedback we see from our students confirms this.
