This free online event series for Student Services professionals in higher education offers a range of strategies and approaches designed to support wellbeing and growth to navigate the ever-changing sector. Join us over three events throughout the 2025/26 academic year to gain practical tools to care for yourself, foster a supportive team culture and take proactive and strategic steps to shape your professional development.

In this session, 'A MicroStrategies™ approach to managing stress and fostering personal resilience', Tayyaba Jordan (Executive Peak Performance Coach) invites participants to explore how small, intentional shifts can have a profound impact on their personal wellbeing and everyday performance at work. Her session will draw on her MicroStrategies™ approach, a method that empowers individuals to unlock their personal formula for success and overcome past limiting beliefs.  The session blends reflective coaching tools, evidence-based insights, and guided self-awareness techniques to provide participants with the tools to foster balance, focus, and calmness in demanding environments.

We’ll explore:

  • Identifying the early signs of stress and emotional depletion and explore practical tools to set boundaries and protect your energy.
  • Applying the Pause–Perspective–Purpose method for quick emotional resets
  • Identify personal “MicroStrategies™” to enhance focus and calm under pressure, and develop a simple “MicroPilot”, a personalised wellbeing action to integrate into daily life.
