Student wellbeing is shaped by more than access to support services alone. As demand for support continues to rise, providers are exploring preventative and non-prescribing approaches that interconnect physical activity, social connection, purpose, belonging and mental health.

This event explores how universities are embedding wellbeing across the student experience through initiatives such as social prescribing that includes sports, wellbeing and nature-based initiatives and cross-campus partnerships. Student Services professionals have had to become creative to promote their initiative effective solutions differ from one student population to the next, and it needs to account for local needs and resources.

Join us to explore less conventional wellbeing practices of how these approaches have been designed, implemented and evaluated. Delegates will gain insight into the impact these kinds of student support can have on student wellbeing. The session will also cover lessons learned from overcoming institutional challenges and offer advice on embedding sustainable, whole-campus approaches to create healthier and more connected student communities.
