Many colleagues in our AMOSSHE community have established themselves as independent higher education consultants, specialising in Student Services. As consultants, these colleagues often work with higher education providers as critical friends to help with reviews of services. They also undertake special projects, provide advice, mentoring, and/or training, and contribute their expertise to influence good practice in the sector. AMOSSHE is the UK’s professional association for Student Services leaders in higher education. Our members include the most experienced Student Services leaders in the country, dealing with real and demanding challenges every day. As a member, you become part of a supportive community, helping each other out and promoting good practice.
Student Services leaders sometimes move to more senior positions within higher education, for example becoming registrars or responsible for the broader remits that include the student experience.
