AMOSSHE annual general meeting

The AMOSSHE annual general meeting (AGM) is the annual opportunity for members of AMOSSHE The Student Services Organisation to engage with the development and direction of your professional association.

All members are welcome to join the meeting to find out about our strategic progress, our aims for the future, and who was elected to join the Executive Committee.

The meeting will be hosted on Zoom.

If you're the lead member for a UK higher education provider, we'll need you to participate in voting at the meeting. If you can’t attend, you can delegate your vote to another named member in your organisation. If you need to do this, please contact us by email with the name of your organisation and your representative.

Agenda and papers

Chair’s opening remarks: Aleata Alstad-Calkins, AMOSSHE Chair, opens the event with a few comments on the year so far.
Minutes and matters arising: A review of the minutes and actions from the 2024/25 annual general meeting.
Year in review and look ahead: Andy Shanks, Vice-Chair, and Chris Warrington, Vice Chair (Professional Development) reflect on the impact of AMOSSHE’s work - both in strengthening and connecting our member community, and in influencing national policy. The review offers a forward-looking perspective on the priorities and challenges that continue to guide AMOSSHE’s work into the coming year.
Year-end finance accounts: Emma Bales, Vice Chair Operations, presents the year end accounts for 2024/25, including an update on the current financial position.
Membership fee prices for 2026 – 2027: Emma Bales presents the membership fees for 2026 - 2027 and the rationale behind the new fees.
AMOSSHE Executive Committee results: Chris Warrington presents the results of the 2026 - 2028 Executive Committee elections.
Any other business: It's an opportunity for members to raise any other queries for consideration.
