Policy and Research Intern

AMOSSHE The Student Services Organisation is looking for a Policy and Research Intern. In this new role, you’ll support the Senior Policy and Research Officer in conducting original research into the use of artificial intelligence in higher education. You’ll take the lead on designing the project, including conducting primary research and analysing the findings. You’ll produce a report which will engage and support our members aligned to our strategic vision, and have the opportunity to present the report as part of our professional development programme. As well, you'll be invited to relevant meetings with our members and external sector organisations which‘ll offer you insight into the role of a policy officer in a higher education setting.

  • Contract type: Fixed-term, full time (37.5 hours a week) for three months (February to April 2026).
  • Location: Hybrid, with a central London office.
  • Remuneration: This internship is for PhD candidates required to do a 3 month placement by their UK Research and Innovation funding (or equivalent). We’re unable to accept applications from self-funded students.
