The conference takes place from Wednesday 2 to Friday 4 July 2025 at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham, UK.

The conference is for in-person delegates only. Sessions at the conference won’t be recorded or streamed online.

Venue, travel and accommodation

The conference takes place at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham, UK.

If you booked a residential ticket you’re staying in Aloft Birmingham Eastside hotel, which is attached to The Eastside Rooms. You can check in on Wednesday 2 July from 17:10 (after the first day of the conference finishes). The hotel team can store your luggage until you check in.

If you haven’t booked a residential ticket and you need accommodation for the event, you must book this separately. AMOSSHE can’t book accommodation for you. If you want to stay at the event venue before Wednesday 2 or after Thursday 3 July, go to the venue website or give them a call to secure the best rates. Find out more.

Arrival and registration

When you arrive at the venue for the start of the conference, please register first. Registration is open from:

  • 10:30 to 13:00 on Wednesday 2 July. The first session starts at 13:00.
  • 08:30 to 09:30 on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 July. The first sessions start at 09:30.

The AMOSSHE registration desk is located in the Affinity Foyer on the ground floor.

Wifi

There’s free wifi for conference delegates. Use the network Eastside Rooms WiFi. There’s no password, just enter your details, accept the terms and conditions, and connect. Please note that this is a public network.

Accessibility

All the floors in the venue are fully accessible by lift.

Accessible toilets are available on all levels where the event is taking place.

Speakers will use microphones in the room where sessions are taking place.

An evacuation plan is in place in case of emergency, and will be outlined to you ahead of the morning sessions. Delegates with mobility considerations should make themselves known to the AMOSSHE team on the registration desk, so that we can discuss a personalised evacuation plan.

Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue, but we would be grateful if you could inform us in advance if you intend to bring your dog with you to the event.

Photography and filming

Please be aware that photos, screenshots and recordings may be taken throughout the conference, especially during the keynote sessions and evening events. AMOSSHE will make every effort to ensure that we capture only those people who have given us consent to use their image. We may use any photographs for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and on social media, or in any third party publication. Please contact the conference team if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempted from this activity.
