Ioana has over a decade of experience in student casework, having worked across multiple UK universities, supporting institutional responses to complex cases and contributing to the development of trauma-informed policies and procedures. Ioana’s work focuses on ensuring that universities move beyond compliance by embedding survivor-centred approaches, improving reporting pathways, and fostering cultures of accountability and respect.
She has led training for staff and student leaders, advised on policy reviews, and collaborated with cross-sector partners to strengthen institutional responses to harassment and abuse. Ioana delivered presentations and workshops on tackling sexual misconduct at three international and national conferences (AMOSSHE, Belfast, July 2023; European Conference on Domestic Violence, Iceland, September 2023; Academic Registrars Council, Brighton, November 2023).

Professor Rachel Fenton is an international expert on bystander programming for the prevention of harmful behaviours in the workplace, sexual violence, sexual harassment, and domestic abuse.
Rachel led a multi-disciplinary team for Public Health England to review the literature, develop, and then evaluate the first evidence-based bystander programme for higher education. The Intervention Initiative has since been recommended by Universities UK, OFS and implemented by universities nationally and internationally.
Since then Rachel has been developing and evaluating evidence-led bystander training for real world contexts such as in professional football and sports, and for workplace incivilities. As co-founder and Director of Kindling, Rachel has led a multitude of bystander training and evaluation projects across multiple sectors including health, Premier League, mining, police, fire and rescue, Office of Police and Crime Commissioners, Welsh government, and is regularly called to give evidence to parliament enquiries.

Emma Maslin is the Senior Policy and Research Officer at AMOSSHE, supporting members on policy and research initiatives. She’s worked with HEMHIT and UMHAN (University Mental Health Advisers Network) to produce a sector resource to inform the use and adoption of case management systems. Emma recently completed a PhD exploring the experiences of commuter students in the UK.

With 20+ years’ experience working across the public and private sectors, Catharine’s expertise lies in curating conversations amongst complex stakeholder groups and inspiring transformative culture change. She is also the Chair of the first multi-state tertiary practitioner network dedicated to GBV prevention, with the Universities Prevention Connection.

Harassment and Misconduct Manager, University of Leeds
Charlotte Webster Dalby is the Harassment and Misconduct Manager at the University of Leeds. She manages the Harassment and Misconduct team coordinating support for students and providing specialist advice. Charlotte is responsible for driving forward a whole-institutional approach to responding to and preventing harassment and misconduct through educative and engagement activities for the university community and contributing specialist knowledge to help develop institution policies.
Charlotte joined the University of Leeds in March 2022, moving here from another higher education institution where she offered information, advice and guidance to students in a 1-2-1 and group setting. As a trained Sexual Violence Liaison Officer, she has worked with survivors of sexual violence, domestic abuse and hate crimes since 2015, and previously led the Sexual Violence Liaison Officers service at Leeds Beckett University.
Charlotte is currently working towards her PhD and is passionate about considering the individual and specific needs of students at the University of Leeds through creating a non-judgemental and flexible service.
