Our professional development events

AMOSSHE offers a full programme of events and conferences every academic year, focused on hot Student Services topics, perennial challenges and sharing good practice.

Our continuing professional development events are curated by our Executive Committee, ensuring they meet the needs of our members. Guided by member feedback, these sessions ensure that training stays relevant, helping you enhance your skills and better support student needs.

Most of our events take place online to make them easier and cheaper to attend, but we also offer in person to help you network and engage with your community.

You can book for our events whether you’re an AMOSSHE member or not. And many of our webinars are free to attend.

For our chargeable events, we help you manage your personal and team professional development budgets by offering a discounted rate for members. Members save on average 20% to 30% on event fees by attending just two events, compared to non-members attending the same events.

Also, if you’re an AMOSSHE member you can also take part in our members only events, including our monthly discussion forum.
