AMOSSHE is directed an Executive Committee of twelve AMOSSHE members and Student Services professionals. The Executive, who include AMOSSHE's Chair and Vice Chairs, are elected by the members and volunteer their time to ensure that AMOSSHE works in the best way to support our members, the sector and the student experience.
AMOSSHE also employs a team of permanent staff who manage the running and development of the organisation, guided by the elected Executive Committee. The permanent team are based in AMOSSHE's National Office in London. Meet the team.

About the Executive
The Executive Committee has four named Chair roles with specific responsibilities. The other eight Executive members lead on various aspects of AMOSSHE work as decided by the Committee. The Executive Committee all commit to their role descriptions and values.
The Executive Committee is elected by ballot, with each AMOSSHE member organisation casting one vote for each vacant role on the committee. No member can serve for more than eight consecutive years.
The Executive Committee meets several times a year to discuss strategy and guide the direction of AMOSSHE. You can read the agendas and minutes of the Executive meetings.

John Bloomfield, Executive Director
John provides operational, strategic and finance support to the AMOSSHE Executive Committee, in order to ensure that they're able to continue to fulfil their role and act properly on behalf of the membership. John is also responsible for line management of the National Office staff and managing AMOSSHE's projects and events programme.
Benjamin Parsons, Head of Engagement
Benjamin manages how AMOSSHE communicates with members and develops the membership community. His work includes devising and delivering a coordinated communications strategy, keeping members up to date with news, conducting member research, and design.
Anya Knight, Operations Coordinator
Anya ensures the quality and efficiency of AMOSSHE’s administration, member support, events, and finance administration. Anya is responsible for smooth and engaging interactions with members and third parties, and developing and delivering professional development events.
Hiba helps to ensure the quality and efficiency of AMOSSHE’s administration, member support, events, finance administration, and communications. Hiba is responsible for detailed administration and finance support, and collating and writing content for AMOSSHE members and public communications channels.
